Project Derafsh (The Banner) — Automated Videos by Iran 2.0 × Gen Z
In ProgressProject Definition
An automated production pipeline that turns two movement documents into short Persian-language videos (1–3 minutes) for Instagram and YouTube: "Javidan Guard of Iran: A Starter Guide" (what can be done today) and the Iran Prosperity Project's "Emergency Phase Handbook" (what must be done during the transition). Each video is tied to a specific section of a handbook, with the page reference shown on screen so viewers can go back to the source. Scripts are drafted with AI and reviewed by a human; narration, visuals, editing, publishing and performance reporting are automated. Videos carry the Gen Z and Iran Rising logos and are published as collabs with the Gen Z page.
The name comes from Derafsh Kaviani, the banner of Kaveh the blacksmith: a plain leather apron raised on a spear that became the flag of the uprising against the tyrant Zahhak. The project does the same with the handbooks: it turns plain, everyday text into a banner that passes from hand to hand and brings people together.
Project Goals
Bring the content of both handbooks to audiences who will not read a long document.
Turn knowledge into action: each video shows one concrete, practical step from a handbook.
Produce regularly, at consistent quality and low cost, through a repeatable pipeline.
Grow the shared Gen Z × Iran 2.0 audience through collabs and shares.
Decide with data: measure every video and refine the next format based on results.
Expected Results
A video series covering the key sections of both handbooks, each with page references.
Videos that reach well beyond the follower base and spread through shares among small groups.
A documented pipeline that produces each video within days, on a fixed budget.
A referenceable archive for Gen Z: one video per handbook section.
Regular performance reports and lessons learned to improve the format.

Skip rate in the first 3 seconds: below 35% (baseline: 33%–47%)
Handbook coverage: number of sections covered across both documents
Publishing cadence: 2 videos per week
